Riyadh Masters: Schedule and Format
Riyadh Masters 2024 at the Esports World Cup begins on July 4 and ends on July 21 for an action packed three weeks of high-stakes Dota 2 gameplay.
Twelve teams begin in the initial Play-In Stage, while the remaining eight automatically are seeded into the Group Stage.
Play-In Stage (July 4 - 7)
- 12 teams compete, split into two groups of six teams in a single-round-robin
- All matches are best-of-two
- Top three teams from each group advance to the Group Stage
- Forth to sixth-place teams from each group will be matched
- Losers are eliminated, and the winners advance to the Group Stage
Group Stage (July 10 - 14)
- Two groups of eight teams compete in a single round-robin
- All matches are best-of-two
- Top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Upper Bracket
- Fifth and sixth-placed teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Lower Bracket
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs Stage (July 16 - 21)
- Ten teams compete in a double-elimination bracket
- All matches, except the Grand Final, are best-of-three
- The Grand Final is best-of-five
