The first-ever Elite League has a rigorous format consisting of three key stages, as outlined below.
Swiss Stage (Group Stage 1)
- Sixteen teams will compete in a modified Swiss system; seven teams with direct invites and nine teams from qualifiers.
- All matches are Bo3
- The top eight teams advance to the Round-Robin stage
- The remaining teams are eliminated
Round-Robin Stage (Group Stage 2)
- There will be two single round robin groups, with eight teams in each
- All matches are Bo2
- The top two teams from each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs
- 3rd - 4th placed teams from each group advance to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs
- Eight teams compete in the double-elimination bracket Playoffs
- All matches (except the Grand Final) are Bo3
- The Grand Final is Bo5
